We went to Hagley Park today, where there is a wonderful paddling pool and playground. We had an ice cream, whereupon Toby was set upon by a gang of unruly ducklings.
It was cute at first but they were very persistant in trying to peck at his ice cream cone and they do have quite hard beaks, so he was a bit frightened. And at one point they did snatch away his cone and run off with it, meaning I had to give chase while he screached in the background. In the end my poor boy was terrified of the baby ducks.
